LEBANON: Shatila Summer School

These images were taken in August-September 2008 at a Beit Atfal Assomoud center summer school in the Palestinian refugee camp of Shatila in Beirut, Lebanon, meant for children who were about to enter first grade of the UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) primary school in September 2008. Beit Atfal Assomoud is a Palestinian-run NGO, which has aid projects in all of the dozen Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
